At Cotton Cottage, our philosophy is three-fold.
Block printing and Weaving provides many village families with a much-needed source of income and is an environmentally-positive approach to textile production. Also, traditional printing and Weaving is often done in family units which provides more income for the whole family and allows women to work within the day-to-day routine of family life. So our main focus is on reviving this age-old craft and giving it a new lease of life.
Secondly, as a Brand which was born out of some intense love and adulation for the inherent comfort and style that colorful, natural fabrics offer, we aim to lead with philosophy of comfort-first.
Thirdly, our aim has always been to manufacture clothes primarily suited to Indian body types and structures, something that goes hand-in-hand with our comfort-first philosophy.
