Nine nights, nine colours, and one question that lands in every man's head around the first week of October: what am I going to wear tomorrow?
You are not alone. Sharad Navratri 2026 begins on Sunday, 11 October, and runs until Monday, 19 October, with Vijayadashami (Dussehra) on Tuesday, 20 October. That is nine days of puja, aarti, garba and dandiya, and each day has its own colour tied to a form of Goddess Durga. Getting dressed for all of it can feel like a lot.
We make it simple. Below you will find the colour for each day, what it stands for, how to style your kurta for it, and a Cotton Cottage pick from the Mehfil collection so you can see the shade in real fabric. No fashion degree needed.
